Biography
Artem Temnikov was born in Moscow, Russia. In 1985 he graduated from the general and art school. In 1998 he graduated from the KSPU (Kaluga State Pedagogical University). In 1993 he graduated from the director's department of the All-Russian Institute for the Advanced Training of Cinematography Workers of the Russian Federation Committee on Cinematography. Since 2006, member of the Writers' Union of Russia. He wrote scripts and directed the documentary films for TV and the TV program about travel and discoveries "Around the World", "Russian Extreme", "In Search of Adventures", "Far and Farther" and others. He worked in hot spots, took dozens of TV programs and documentaries in more than 90 countries.

Directors Statement
This is the eternal story of Cain and Abel, two brothers who both loved one women. They grew up in a little mining town and then got into the funnel of the big city with its temptations, loneliness and betrayal. This is the story of the boys who became men. Childhood, the serenity of boyhood, the flashes of the sun in the sea waves, the first love, — are replaced by the anxious loneliness of a young man in a big city, where even close people become strangers.
