Andrey is the coach of a children's hockey team in a small provincial town. Andrey's tranquil life is disrupted by the news that the town's only ice palace is set to be demolished. The only way to save the ice palace is to win an amateur hockey tournament. Andrey has just a few months to assemble a team and prepare them for the games. The fathers of the young hockey players decide to take to the ice themselves and fight for their children's future.
