Years running: 72 (since 1953)
International film festival dedicated Mountains, Exploration and Adventure.
About
The Festival circuit kicks off in Trento to recount stories and visions which man has of the mountains. Because the stories presented every year at Trento touch upon many generations. They are testament to the passion for mountains and nature which the Festival represents through its "open window onto the world." In the meantime, there is plenty of scope for new entries. And, together with these, there is plenty of space for new ideas and original and "different" visions for film, and also for the books on display in the fair. Trento is an opportunity not to be missed to see and talk about the mountains, mountaineering, the environment and perhaps above all to encounter those men and women who live for and love the mountains.
