About
In 2013, Thin Line Film Fest will award nearly $20,000 in cash and prizes to the year's best feature and short documentaries. ALL types of documentaries are encouraged to submit including traditional and non-traditional styles. Organizers not only want traditional docs, but also mockumentaries, docufictions, docudramas, or any film that pushes the boundaries of the documentary genre.
Awards
- Thin Line Best Documentary Award. Feature Winner will receive a $10 000 credit with Panavision. Short Winner will received a $5 000 credit;
- Denton Award - The Denton Award is a $1000 cash prize for the best feature or short documentary with a 'connection' to Denton County, Texas;
- Best Student Short Doc Award.
Rules
- Submit via Filmfreeway.
- Filmmakers are responsible for shipping costs.
- Subtitles language: English
- Students get 50% off submission fees. Your submission must be flagged as 'student' and your submission profile must include a photo/copy of your student ID.
