Silver SCAD Film Festival

About

The festival slogan: "On a wave of emotions!" reflects the concept: cinema should evoke the emotions of the viewer. The festival prefers films that catch and make us laugh, cry, deeply empathize. These are films with a strong catching story.

​Feature shorts (up to 30 min) and documentary films - from all over the world are considered.

The competition is judged by International Jury.

Rules

• The film should reflect the concept of the festival: "On a wave of emotions"
• Films SHOULD NOT be freely available on the Internet
• At the time of application, films must be fully completed
• NO PREMIER REQUIREMENTS
• To select foreign films not in English ENGLISH SUBTITLES  needed
• The festival will help make Russian subtitles to foreign films selected for the competition
• By submitting the film, the participant confirms that he/she is the legal owner of the application materials and DOES NOT VIOLATE copyright, literary, musical, artistic, intellectual property or personal rights.
• By submitting an application, the participant agrees to the use of materials (up to 10 seconds, frames, posters, trailer) for the advertising purposes of the festival - both in print and on the Internet. 
• Submission fee for the film schools students is $5 for all deadlines.
• Preferring new films, the festival does not limit the time of creation and can select any application that powerfully and creatively reflects the concept: "On a wave of emotions!"
