Postira Seaside festival

About

The third Postira Seaside Film Festival will be held from the 01. to the 03. of August 2013
in the old town square of the village Postira on the island of Brač. On two nights we will show international short fiction films and on one night croatian shorts.

The films in the international competition will compete for the audience award. The croatian program is of revial character.

Thirteen of the fifteen international films shown in 2012 were croatian premieres and most of them were awarded numerous prices on prestigious festivals. Two of them were nominees for the 2012 Academy Awards: RAJU (Max Zähle) and TUBA ATLANTIC (Hallvar Witzo).

• International competition,
• Midnight shorts (out of competition) -shorts not selected for the international competition.
• Best Of Croatian shorts.

Awards

Films in the international competition will compete for the audience award: A 7-day-stay for two persons in the 4-star «Hotel Pastura» in Postira anytime in 2022.

Rules

• We only accept short fiction films (no animation, experimental or documentary films) completed after 1st January 2019. Their duration should not exceed 40 minutes. 
• Subtitles language: English

Participants have to send either:

• (preferred) A online or download link of their film with english subtitles along with the filled out Entry Form. In case of selection we well need the film as HD-quicktime-movie or screenable DVD.
• OR A screenable DVD copy of their film with english subtitles (as we will screen the selected films from these copys) along with a filled out Entry Form sent by mail.
