About

QueerFest aims at creating grounds for discussion of queer theory and arts in Turkey, drawing attention to discrimination and violence against LGBTQ members of the society.

Program

LGBTQI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex) themed feature films, documentaries and short films can be submitted.

Rules

Restirctions

• Feature-length films selected to the Festival must be in 35mm, DigiBeta, DCP, HDCam or Blu-Ray format. Short films are accepted in any format;
• Only short films under 20 minutes are selected to the Festival;
• LGBT films.

Additional Information

Shipment costs of prints both to and from the festival will be paid by the festival only if the prints are sent from and returned to their sources. In case the print is shared with another festival only one way transportation charges will be paid by the Festival.
