The Melbourne Documentary Film Festival is amongst the world’s newest documentary film festivals and Australia's first competitive documentary film festival.
The Melbourne Documentary Film Festival is the only festival in Australasia to provide feedback on submissions. The feedback is simple, straight forward, positive and constructive (like a review) and gives you an insight into what the curator thought of your documentary and will be provided if you want it by applying to info@mdff.org.au.

A short documentary we define as being documentary that is 40 minutes or shorter.
A feature documentary we define is a documentary that is 41 minutes or longer.
