About

MAX3MIN is a short film festival where the films are so short they last no longer than 3 minutes. The festival is born out of the sole intent of telling stories.

Film stories condensed in a minimum time, stories about the time that runs fast, stories of feelings that do not need time.
Stories you can watch again, as you listen to a song again.
Stories that want to propose anything but themselves.

There is only one international call for entries: with no division into categories, we look for short films of every genre and language, shot in any format and at any time.

Duration is the only limit: up to 3 minutes, excluding titles. Every filmmaker can submit 3 films. 

Awards

An international jury will choose the best 10 short films and will award the winner with 3.000 € for the production of a new film.

In addition, the audience will be asked to express their preferences and to proclaim the three winners of the
Audience Award.

Rules

• Length: maximum three minutes, excluding titles.
• Formats allowed: video and digital.
• Language: Candidate’s choice, as long as English subtitles are present.
• Number of productions: maximum of three per applicant.
