LIDF

London International Documentary Festival.

About

The LIDF is the UK’s largest documentary festival. It unfolds at many venues across London and offers an unprecedented snapshot of the contemporary world. The festival adopts a questioning, critical attitude to the cultural, social and political issues of the day, engaging with filmmakers, their subjects, and our audience to create a highly distinct environment for cultural interaction.

The Festival now screens films every month in London and Paris. Films selected for the monthly screenings are part of the ‘Official Selection’ and are automatically nominated for the end of year awards. A three-day ‘Awards’ festival takes place in London in November.
