About
Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival, in association with Lakeshore Arts, aims to showcase the independent spirit and passion of short films while fostering the film community of the South Etobicoke area. The Festival acknowledges outstanding achievement through awards by local sponsors.
Awards
The number, categories and types of awards to be given, and the recipients, will be determined and decided in the sole discretion of the Festival based on the Films submitted. The categories may, but are not required to, include: best film, best cinematography, best performance (male / female) or any other category determined by the Festival.

Submit via Filmfreeway.
Films previously submitted to the Festival may not be re-submitted.
Entrants can submit up to three Films, each with a separate entry form and fee.
Each entrant of an award-winning Film will receive 2 tickets to the Festival Awards and to the screening of their film.

Lakeshorts seeks short films of all types, including student films. Must be under 20 min in length to be showcased at the Loved and Local and Gala Screenings.
