About
Created in 2001, the High Falls Film Festival was one of only 40 film festivals worldwide that celebrated the work of women filmmakers.
Our expanded mission includes the contributions of women filmmakers and goes well beyond that theme to embrace a wider array of films representing a diverse filmmaking community. We invite all filmmakers and all audiences to share in the celebration of new and cutting edge motion picture art.

Rules
- Shorts: all submitted works must be a maximum length of 30 minutes
- Must include women in a leadership role(s) in the production (Director, Screenplay Writer, Producer, etc)
- All genres including live action narrative, live action documentary, animation, experimental, hybrid, etc. may be submitted
- No works-in-progress please
