Espoo Ciné International Film Festival focuses on European films, complementing them with a carefully chosen selection of cinematic gems from other continents. The films screened at the festival are relatively new, usually released within the last couple of years. The annual programme includes approximately 110 feature films and 10–15 short films.

Rules

Espoo Ciné focuses on European feature length films. The annual programme includes approximately 100 feature films and selection of short films for the children. Normally submissions to Espoo Ciné are by invitation, but it is also possible for the sales agents and production companies etc. to suggest a film by filling the application form on this site.

Please note, that we screen short films only in children's programme, so do NOT submit any other short films than ones suitable for the children audience of age group 3-6. Neither are non-European films selected, so please do NOT submit films produced outside of Europe.
