About
The International Film Festival of Cyprus was established in 2004 as a non-profit organization. CIFF is the first international film festival held in Cyprus with a «competition section» in categories that include feature, short, animation, video art/dance/music, humanitarian, sport, and children films, devoted exclusively to independent emerging filmmakers.

Rules
- Films produced the last 36 months can participate in CYIFF - Cyprus International Film Festival. These films may be have screened in other festivals in Cyprus.
- Only First, Second and Third Feature Films are eligible to participate for the «Golden Aphrodite Award». All other feature films are eligible for «Veteran's Award».
- Student fees.
