As great documentaries change the way we see the world, reveal stories that impact people's daily lives, reveal discoveries that promise a better future, and shed light on the lives of our earthlings and the world around us, we dedicate the festival to screenings of films from all corners of the earth. giving voice to the voiceless.

The Docuworld Film Festival is the festival counterpart of The Breaking-TV Film Festival and is held annually in conjunction with The British Films Market and The Breaking-TV Film Festival.

The Award ceremony will take place on the 13th and 14th of May 2023 at the Whirled Cinema in London, United Kingdom, and will also broadcast live. Awards and trophies will be presented in the following categories:

Best Picture Documentary

Best Series Documentary Best Feature Documentary Best Short Documentary

Step 1: First cut
Your project will be assessed for originality, quality and authenticity before moving on to step 2.

Step 2: Promotion
Festival programmers will carefully select films to be nominated for awards and create a selection of nominated films to be screened on the Breaking-TV Network.

Step 3: Official Jury

Applications are open to both British and international filmmakers based outside the UK, with two separate entry categories.
Films must be made within the last 5 years.
You can submit your project to more than one category.
All films must be in English or contain English subtitles if they are not in English. Works not in English without subtitles or additional printed translations, unfortunately, will not be considered.
By submitting an application to us, you give us your consent and the right to show your film in front of a live audience and, under special circumstances, to show it online.
