Andrew comes on vacation to his native village called "White Lake" from the city where he studied in the Institute of Education. The life in the village gradually fades after the factory has burned, where most of its inhabitants employed. Andrew meets a childhood friends who live in the village and spend time with them daily. He sees that they are lost in life. They spend their days aimlessly killing time instead of trying to do something about their lives. And finally, a pleasant sunny day, on the White Lake — which is the main natural sight of the village is ending a senseless tragedy. One person is killed, another goes to prison. Andrew went back to the city, left friends disappear in a dying village. But the hope for a miracle still remains, that everything can still be revived, and it is located into the bottom of White Lake.
