Moscow suburbs. Morose and tired Seva comes home after a night shift and meets a school-age girl sitting on a bench. The girl tells him a story of how she run away from home so to trip and travel. Seva spends the whole next day with her, unwilling. And the day turns out to be a special one, though Seva hasn’t yet noticed the changes the day's brought.
