Biography
"Eva" is a student director’s debut film as part of studying at the Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Filmdirectors, Moscow, workshop of Pavel Lungin and Irina Volkova. Olga Smirnova had successfully worked as a documentary film producer for both TV and independent film studios. She has executive produced a number of Russian and international projects together with the award-winning directors such as Alex Gibney and Sergei Miroshnichenko (Russian “Up series”, IOC official Sochi Olympic Games film). Olga had also worked for Moscow International Film Festival selecting the best documentaries from all around the world as well as a buyer for Russian Television and Radio (RTR) and Kultura channel. Degrees in international relations, business and film. Studied in the US, UK, France and Singapore.
