Arthur, grandson of crime boss Midas, comes to Russia from the Netherlands to attend his grandfather’s funeral. Pavel, grandson of famous Togliatti policeman Ogurtsov, is neck-deep in problems with his family, his girlfriend, and money. The two young men and their gold Lada are being pursued by Baldy, Booba and Grishka the Singer, three gang leaders who have been recently released from prison. Yet more dangerous and cunning is Midas’s protégé named Shamrai, who will stop at nothing to take back his gold, influence and power. Arthur and Pavel are forced to become friends in order to save their own lives, atone for their grandfathers’ mistakes, and perhaps even find love.
