Biography
My name is Ruben Sogomonian. I am an aspiring independent film director of Armenian origin from St. Petersburg, Russia. Since 12 to 18 years old I was an actor in the "Pyatnitsa" theater under the direction of Pavel Platonov Anatolyevich. I studied in faculty of arts of the University of Culture ( speciality: film and TV director, teacher). I had experience as an assistant film director (in short and full-length films), operator, editor, illuminator and I played some roles in student films. As an auditor i visited the faculty of scriptwriters and dramatists, where the teacher was Yury Nikolaevich Klepikov. The first serious film experience began with work in full-length independent film “The Castle” by Konstantin Seliverstov, where I was an assistant film director and assistant cameraman.
