Eastern Slavs, at the very beginning of summer, performed a ceremony dedicated to the god of thunder and lightning - Perun. Ancient people asked Perun to protect the community from lightning, fires and misfortunes. On the border of the Gomel, Chernihiv and Bryansk regions, this song tradition continued until 2019. This film is about the pagan tradition as a model of culture that can be woven into other religions and remain interesting to posterity!
