A writer of detective novels embarks on a risky venture - he persuades his uncle, the prison warden, to place him in the death row cell for a week. He needs this experience to accurately portray the final days of a death row inmate in his novel. The experiment concludes, but no one seems to be in a hurry to release the writer. And what seemed like a 'simple plan' turns into a fight for life.
