Arthur recruits the young, charming Lyuba for the role of a killer. However, at first sight, the young people fall in love with each other. The young man, risking his life, decides to save Lyuba, but other members of the underground organization quickly realize that Arthur has betrayed them. Conducting a tribunal, the fanatic Chernetsky offers Lyuba to eliminate Arthur, who has betrayed the common cause. Will Lyuba give Arthur a second chance?
