Two young spouses are going through a rough patch in their relationship. The wife is partially paralyzed after suffering a stroke, and the husband is taking care of her: bathing, feeding, putting to bed and so on, day after day. However, she gives him every signal that it only breeds bitterness in her. One time, being alone in the house, she hears an unpleasant noise, and it forces her to get up, in search of its source.
