About

BUTFF is an initiative of Stichting Idee-fixe. This non-profit foundation aims to get a larger audience for artistic video's, film and modern digital media.

The foundation wants to achieve this by mediating between public and artists, publishers and/or distributors. BUTFF shows films that differs a lot form the mainstream cinema. Films that surprise you by their deviating structure, taste and context.

• Feature films (B-movie, Underground, Trash, Horror);
• Short films;
• Presentations of the festival guests;
• Poetic and musical performances;
• Presentation of cartoons.
