Reading Film Fest was created by filmmakers for filmmakers and film lovers. We understand the importance of festivals in creating opportunities for filmmakers to meet their audiences, network with other professionals and promote their films. By supporting filmmakers, we’ve learned that our audience benefits by being able to engage in truly meaningful dialogue with the creators of film.

Once again, this year’s film festival in Reading, PA promises to be a weekend of networking, great panels, fun parties and amazing films!

Filmmakers! Reading Film Fest welcomes filmmakers from the Mid-Atlantic region and around the world! Whether or not you are submitting a film to our festival, we encourage you to hang out in Reading!

Rules

• Films must be completed after January 1, 2023
• Student filmmakers must submit proof of student status by uploading a photo of valid student ID. 
• All films selected for screening at the festival grant ReadingFilmFEST the right to use stills and excerpts of up to two minutes for promotional purposes. 
• Multiple entries are permissible, but each entry must be accompanied by a separate Entry and fee. 
• While ReadingFilmFEST does not restrict or censor the artistic content or style of any submission, the FEST does reserve the right to not accept for submission or honor with award any film that is perceived to promote a careless or malicious culture of hate, violence or obscenity. 
• All fees are nonrefundable.
