About
The festival, dedicated to the national monument Ara Pacis Mundi in Medea, is considered among the biggest film festivals in the world in the field of human rights and is characterized by the prestige of the locations such as the British Museum in London or the University of Cambridge in which parts of it have taken place in 2011 and 2012. The festival is open to films and documentaries of any length with peace and human rights as their subject.

The Festival also grants the following special awards on human rights:
Rules
The film, documentary or fiction, must focus on the theme of peace, wartime conflict, civil war, human rights or justice. The films dealing with other themes will not be admitted to the Festival or included in the catalogue.
