• INTERNATIONAL COMPETITTION (around 12 films will compete for the official competition awards) 
• NATIONAL COMPETITION (8 films will compete for the best Romanian film award) 
• VIDEORAMA (experimental films that will compete for best experimental film award) 
• FILM SCHOOLS (non competitive selection of some film schools chosen by the Festival Director) 
• MINI-TIMI (non competitive selection of films for children) 
• OUT OF COMPETITION (non competitive selection of films on different thematic)

NATIONAL COMPETITION 

• Best Romanian Film
• two special mentions

Videorama Award and two special mentions.

AUDIENCE AWARD will be awarded by the Timishort Audience, by voting the favorite film, from 
the National and International Competitions.

Rules

• The competition attendance is open to all works made after January 1st, 2018.
• Each piece of work must not be longer than 30 minutes.
• Short films that have already been screened at other Romanian or international festivals will be allowed to take part in this competition and compete for the awards, but Romanian premieres will have priority.
• The Entry Form must be filled out in its entirety and duly signed for acceptance by the Author.
• Provide a pasworded link (Vimeo). Please note that we don’t download any films anymore.
