Stoptrik IFF

About

International Film Festival is a unique event, dedicated exclusively to stop motion animation. From a niche initiative born in an alternative culture center Pekarna in Maribor, Stoptrik IFF developed into a festival that takes place in two countries (Slovenia and Poland), organizes international competition, presents wide retrospectives curated by film experts and invites animation adepts to direct participation in the workshops. A counterculture spirit of Pekarna squat corresponds with organizers' main concerns - artistic quality of presented programm and spontaneous, creative atmosphere.

«International Stop Motion Competition» and «The Borderlands Competition» will take place in Maribor on 05. - 08. 10. 2017 and Łódź on 10.-12. 11. 2017.

Rules

• Films that last no longer than 30 minutes
• International films, realized after January 1st, 2017
• Films should use stop motion means of expression (puppet/ clay/ cut-out/ objects/ loose materials/ pixilation etc)

Documents and Other Requisite Items

• Submission is completed only with signed ENTRY FORM and REGULATIONS.
• Send DVD with submitted film by mail or via online transfer channels.
