New Vision (Noviy Vzglyad)


The North Caucasian Short Film Festival  «Novy Vzglyad(New Vision)» is held in the territory of the Stavropol Territory and has an international status, being a non-profit event. This Festival is held annually as part of the preservation and enhancement of traditions in the field of cinematography, spirituality, culture and intercultural dialogue.

The objectives of the festival are:

  • Creation of an interactive platform for people with the idea of ​​cinema development in the North Caucasus Federal District to attract young people to the creation of films (game, animation, social, documentary) that reveal and propagate universal values.
  • The development of the Institute of Cinematography in the Stavropol Territory, the popularization of cinematographers and directors in the North Caucasus.
  • Creation of cinematographic volunteer movement and education of morality, patriotism and active citizenship of the festival participants.
  • Carrying out the North Caucasian Short Film Festival "New Look" and uniting creative youth inspired by cinematography.
  • Conducting a number of master classes from famous directors and actors of the Russian Federation. Acquaintance with the professionals of the national cinema and increase of the general professional level of the participants.





  • To participate in the festival are invited professionals and amateurs, united by the idea of ​​cinema, engaged in film production and cinematography.
  • Regardless of sex, religion, language, citizenship and nationality, who have reached the age of majority or accompanied by a parent / guardian, who fulfill the requirements of the Festival and have applied in this form.
  • Country, region, city of production - any, if the film is suitable for one of the nominations, has Russian voice acting, dubbing or subtitles, the format and quality are suitable for viewing on projection equipment. To participate are allowed social videos from 1 to 15 minutes and movies from 10-40 minutes.
  • Participation films must be provided in the following formats: (DCP, DVD, MP4).
  • Materials for the catalog should be submitted to the festival e-mail (brief information about the filmmakers, the director's photos, the footage from the film in the form of electronic photographs (at least 3 pieces)
  • Participation in the festival can be completed by production and broadcast not earlier than 2017 of production.
  • Each participant of the festival can submit for the competition an unlimited number of works. The participant who sent his film to the festival must have all the rights to this film.
  • The work is provided to the Organizing Committee for initial viewing. Permission is given to link to or or the site, as well as any other video resources with open access or to file sharing.
