Pontino Short Film Festival

About

The last editions have been characterized from a big affluence of media, public (more than 15.000 spectators in all), and movies (2.913 subscriptions in all) national and international (57 nations of provenance).

Awards

The total amount of the prizemoney shall be not less than 2000 €. 

• Prize for the Best Italian Short Film
• Prize for the Best International Short Film
• Prize for the Best Social Short Film, to a film enrolled in one of the sections Woman, Social, Migrants
• Prize Audience, assigned by the spectators’ vote.

Mentions

• Best Woman Film director, to a short film realized by a woman film maker or a film maker that shows he/she can catch the female gaze.
• Best Photography
• Best Animation
• Best «Lazio Corto», awarded by spectators
• Corto Press, awarded by Media Committee

Rules

• It’s possible to register at least two short films per author.
• The works must not have been registered in past editions of this Festival or not realized prior 2014.
• The films of all sections and genres have to last 15 minutes, credits included.
• The Commission could admit meritorious short films longer than 15 mins (up to 30 mins) 
• Italian or English language subtitles are required in case of foreign movies or, in alternative, the dialogues list in English language is mandatory
• The following themes are admitted:
  • Woman
  • Migrants
  • Social topics
  • Free topic
• The topics not included in this announcement could participate in the “Out of competition” section

• Download (or make an inquiry for it) the PDF acquittance, sign it and send to directors@fpdc.it
• Send to directors@fpdc.it (until 5t h of July August 2017) the links in order to download the short film’s file via an on-line platform (WeTransfer, Dropbox, Vimeo etc.).
