As usual, the FRONTALE Film Festival should not only be a place of film consumption but also a platform for discussions and discourse. With you, the filmmakers and the audience, we want to speak about the shown films. We came to stay! The FRONTALE Film Festival will continue to grow and become an integral part of Wiener Neustadts cultural landscape.

Awards

• Best short film — the gold-plated statuette of the FRONTALE Film Festival and additional prize money of € 1500
• Audience award comes with a yet unknown amount of prize money.

Rules

• All types of films are allowed. No matter if documentary films, animated films, live action, silent films, musicals, music videos, short narrative features, experimental features, home movies or professional film productions: everything is permitted. There is also no genre limitation.
• The maximum length is 30 minutes! Credit rolls included. There is no minimum length.
• All films that have been produced before 2015 do not qualify.
• There is no limitation of the amount of films that can be submitted.
• There is no specific topic.
