El Meu Primer Festival

About

It is an international film festival for children between 2 and 12. It wants to contribute to the dissemination of a plural and creative cinema, offering a sample of film creations worldwide and of all time. With the aim to entertain and educate, stimulate imagination and creativity, and awakening the critical spirit.

Awards

• Jury’s award to the best short film for children aged 4 to 7 – 300€,
• Jury’s award to the best short film for children aged 8 to 12 - 300€,
• Public’s award to the best short film for children aged 2 to 4 - 300€,
• Public’s award to the best short film for children aged 4 to 7 – 300€,
• Public’s award to the best short film for children aged 7 to 12 – 300€,
• Public award to the best Long Feature Film – 2000 €

The same short may receive a double award: the jury’s and the public’s.

Rules

• The works shall be animation or feature short films, specifically produced for young audience from 3 to 10 years old.
• Films produced after 2017 accepted.
• Animated or Fiction short films within a maximum length of 15 minutes.
• Priority will be given to films without dialogues or that have short voice overs.
• Subtitles language: English

Jury and Organizers

Competing films will be judged by the following juries: 

• Joint official jury of 3-4 professionals specialised in cinema and 3-4 children.
• The public, formed by the spectators of the festival.
