Years running: 16 (since 2006)

International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City.

The International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City (DocsDF) will take place this year from November 8th to 18th. DocsDF features, competitive and non-competitive sections, special screenings, open-air screenings and an autocinema.

Each participant may present one or more documentaries. For this, an online entry form must be filled in at and afterwards two copies of the film in DVD must be sent to the festival. The initiatives received will be evaluated by a jury formed by members of Imcine and DocsDF. Likewise, the experts will determine which works will participate in the final stage of the call for entries: the pitching sessions, in which the filmmakers will be able to exhibit their work to the audience and aspire to receive one of the three 50 thousand pesos financial supports granted by Imcine.
