About
The Colorado International Film Festival strives to set a standard for excellence in recognizing the important work of emerging talent and masters of the cinema craft around the world. Quite simply, it is our mission to discover and celebrate extraordinary films. This year's festival will see over $10,000 in prizes awarded to the winners.
CIFF is a non-traditional online festival and films will not be screened for the public. Awards will be announced via our official website, targeted email blast, social media, and Internet promotional channels.

Films that focus on environmental causes or preservation and protection of wildlife and natural resources.
Documentary Film over 45 minutes.
Student Films are films of any length or genre written, directed or produced by a currently enrolled student.
Colorado films are films that are made in some capacity by a Colorado resident or films that showcase the diverse aesthetics, subjects, and locations of Colorado.
The competition includes both a feature length and short length screenplay sompetition.
Films and videos produced for television
Film centered on outdoor lifestyles and action sports of any length.
Narrative films over 45 minutes.
Animated films over 45 minutes.
Short Films are narrative, animated, experimental, music videos or documentary films under 45 minutes.
Films produced outside of the United States.
Films made by a first-time filmmaker.
Music videos under 10 minutes.
