Bare Bones International Film Festival is dedicated to screening feature motion picture projects with budgets less than 1 million dollars. We also champion 'Bare Bones Budgeted ' Documentaries, Music Videos, TV Pilots, Scripts, Animation, Student Films. Our philosophy is to promote and support the efforts of the small budget filmmakers, screenwriters and producers. We treat everyone the way we would like to be treated and provide lots of encouragement.

40-120 pages-standard screenplay format for screenplays. Stage play or Teleplay should be in the correct format. Open to all genres and niches.
We are looking for character-driven projects with high production values for all genres. Separate entry for special niche categories, with running time constraints. 60-110 minutes total running time.
Enter your movie soundtrack or original music score, not to exceed 30 minutes on an audio file. Indicate if motion picture is also entered in festival, list name of composer, music supervisor and any pertinent licensing information.
1−29 minutes total running time. Student must send copy of current enrollment ID, Middle or High School, College, University or Film School.
Shorts 11 to 29 minutes are accepted in this category. May include any narrative film genre.
Short Documentary 11−40 minutes.
The Short screenplay (40 pages or less) with few characters and locations, all genres. Be sure to indicate your Category (Screenplay, Stageplay or Teleplay).
1−10 minutes total running time. Documentaries, Narratives, Animation, Music videos, Infomercials, trailers, Actor or Actress in a scene.
Documentary Feature 40−90 minutes.
