Barcelona International Women’s Film Festival

About

After twenty years of activity, the Barcelona International Women’s Film Festival keeps supporting and promoting works by women filmmakers, and women’s culture in general. Its XXI edition presents a series of novelties: schedule will be extended throughout the year with different programming and at the variety of venues; monographic spaces will be open, creative workshops will be held, and we will inaugurate a space on-line.

However, we are still interested in presenting current creations by international moviemakers, as well as the diverse formats they represent. That’s why, even if we are remodelling the usual programming structure, we continue to offer you our platform to make your work known and invite you, therefore, to send us your applications that, as always, will receive our thorough consideration during the selection process.

Rules

• Films must have been directed or co-directed by women. We don’t accept short films (<30 min);
• Films must not have been released in Spain.
• Subtitles language: Spanish or Catalan

The completed and signed entry form will be considered as a participation commitment and must be submitted by ordinary post or fax (+34932153519), with:

• Preview DVD (PAL) 
• Complete principal cast and production credits listings
• Synopsis
• Biography and filmography of the director
• Press kit
